NANS Türkiye Undertakes Technical Visit to Turkish Cargo Airport

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Türkiye Chapter, recently undertook a technical visit to Turkish Cargo Airport, as part of its ongoing efforts to expose Nigerian students in Türkiye to strategic sectors and foster institutional engagement.

The visit was led by the Senate President of NANS Türkiye, Comrade Ken, alongside the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Comrade Kolawole, and was accompanied by a number of Nigerian students resident in Istanbul.

During the visit, the delegation was received by representatives of Turkish Cargo, who provided an insightful overview of the airport’s cargo operations, logistics systems, and its role in global supply chain management. Participants were taken through key operational areas and introduced to the processes involved in international cargo handling, aviation logistics, and trade facilitation.

The engagement offered students a valuable opportunity to gain practical exposure to the aviation and logistics industry, broadening their understanding of international commerce and operational management beyond the classroom.

Speaking during the visit, Comrade Ken, Senate President of NANS Türkiye, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bridging academic learning with real-world experience:

The PRO of NANS Türkiye, Comrade Kolawole, also highlighted the significance of the visit in strengthening student awareness and institutional visibility, noting that such engagements contribute to informed career choices and enhanced student development.

The visit concluded with interactive discussions, group photographs, and expressions of appreciation to the management of Turkish Cargo for their hospitality and openness to student engagement.
