On September 3, 2025, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS TURKEY CHAPTER met with the Benin Consul in Istanbul. The meeting took place at Vadistanbul and was attended by Mehmet Atar, Vice Consul of the Republic of Benin, and Saheed Kolawole, PRO of NANS Turkey.
The discussions focused on potential collaboration with Eyüp Sabri Tuncer, a leading Turkish company with over 700 consumer products. Six representative products were highlighted as potential items for export to Nigeria, including shower gel, liquid soap, shampoo, roll-on deodorant, portable body spray, and toothpaste.
The meeting also explored opportunities for networking and cultural exchange through the upcoming Türkiye–Africa Business Forum, scheduled for October 16–17, 2025, in Istanbul. NANS Turkey is positioned to support visiting delegates, strengthen ties among African participants, and facilitate business engagement.
The interaction concluded on a positive note, highlighting the potential for continued collaboration between NANS Turkey and the Benin Consul in areas of business, cultural exchange, and community engagement.
